EPA implemented a project to support the economic empowerment and social cohesion of female-led households, including a number of families that left Al-Hol camp. The project results confirmed that economic empowerment enhances social cohesion measures and the project contributed to securing sustainable and sufficient income for families, promoting self-reliance and breaking down barriers between host communities and returnees.
