Reduce food insecurity and negative coping mechanisms for IDPs from the earthquake's impact of Northern Syria who need emergency food support. In this project, EPA distributed food assistance through direct distribution (food baskets). All food assistance beneficiaries were selected through EPA’s household vulnerability assessment tool using household assessments and a points-based vulnerability criteria. A stock of Ready-to-Eat (RTEs) was prepositioned and distributed to affected-earthquake newly displaced households in the camps, the target was 550 families. As per FSL Cluster guidance, the RTE ration supported a family of six (providing a minimum of 2001 calories per person) for a period of 3 months, every month one basket for one family (the same families).
